- 2 blocks (8 oz each) cream cheese cut into cubes
- 2 ¼ C shredded cheddar
- 8 slices cooked bacon
- Chopped fresh chives for plating
Directions:
- Pour the chicken broth into your crock pot. Stir in the parsley, the dill, chives, onion powder and the salt and pepper.
- Add half the chicken and season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Repeat steps with second half of the chicken.
- Stir to coat the chicken.
- Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 2 hours.
- Using 2 forks, shred the chicken inside the slow cooker.
- Stir in the cream cheese and the shredded cheddar until they melt.
- Top with remaining ¼ cup of cheddar, the bacon and the fresh chives.
