  •         11g g egg whites room temp
  •         56 g butter
  •         1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  •         58 g sour cream

Instructions

  1. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Add yeast and syrup to large bowl.
  3. Warm water to 105 or 110  degrees.
  4. Pour over mix and let rest for 7 minutes.
  5. Mix flour in large bowl. Add protein powder, psyllium husk, xantham gum, baking powder, salt, cream of tartar and ginger. Mix.
  6. Once yeast is done proofing, add egg and egg whites and melted butter. Make sure melted butter is not too hot as it will kill the yeast.
  7. Mix with stand mixer or electric mixer for a few minutes.
  8. Add flour in two batches. Alternate with part of sour cream per batch.
  9. Mix until thoroughly combined.
  10. Divide dough into 6-8 rounds. Wet your hands while shaping.
  11. Cover with lightly oiled saran wrap and cover with towel to let rise. Should take about an hour or so. They should have more than doubled in size. Make sure there are no drafts in the area they are resting in.
  12. Heat oven to 350.
  13. Bake for 30 minutes until deeply golden. Cover with foil dome is cooking too fast.
  14. All to cool completely.
